Bell-matic4006-6031

A really nice solid stainless white dialed version of the 6031 on the original president style bracelet, these bracelets are in my opinion one of the best that the Bell matic came on. This one is from January 1972 all original running fine and the only down side is the fact that the dial has some damage to it, i have two of the white dialed versions and both have damage to the dial, still looking for that "mint" dial. These case styles are commonly know as "cushion" case and are a nice size to wear and have a good presence on the wrist, another of my favorite styles.

The 4006-6001

This is one of my favorites, the large case on these are also referred to as the "UFO" case. Typical 70s styling with a nice presence on your wrist when worn and also one of the less common of the Bell-matic series and like the greatest majority of Bell-matics it has the 4006 movement.

Three 4006-6027 Bell-matics

These are the very popular "cushion" cased Bell-matics, i had been looking for a nice example of one of these and ended up collecting three in January of 2009.

27 Jewel 4006-6020

A nice cushion case 6020 27 Jewel, not has common as the 17 Jewel model on it's original bracelet from June 1970.
Has received.
As you can see by the above picture it was in good condition when i received it just a worrying mark at 6 o'clock, but after removing the bezel and crystal it was just the old DNA from the previous owner/s, so just a general clean up and she is a minter.
After a clean up, very nice.

4006-6027 Cushion case Bell matic

A 17 Jewel refurbished 4006-6027 dating from June 1971, i received this in a trade with a fellow collector, i had been looking for the 6027 for a while (just missing out on a few occasions).
This one on receiving it had a few problems that needed sorting out :
* Incorrect crystal had been glued in.
* Water damage through the alarm port.
* Alarm release corroded away.
* Alarm bezel retainers corroded.
* Alarm bezel glue and water damage.
* Dial had water damage (6.30) and broken feet and had been glued in place Crying or Very sad.
* And the case i think had perhaps been used as a toffee hammer at some time LoL
* Outer blue bezel dull and knocked about.

So all in all a nice project watch, so a new crystal and tensioning ring, make and fit new dial feet, replace, clean and repair the other parts and apart from a case clean up and a refurb of the blue outer bezel, all that was needed was the original bracelet for this model which i just happened to have waiting in my spares box.
